Merry Meet and welcome to my playground. Take your shoes off, relax and stay a while! Of course, you are always welcome to bounce off the padded walls! Okay, let me make a little introduction. My name is Ariisa and I live in New York City. I am 22 years old, female and happily married for almost three years. I have many hobbies including (but not limited to) reading (Anne Rice and Poppy Z. Brite), sewing (medieval and gothic designs), writing (poetry and short stories - see the Articles Page for samples), making stained glass, learning calligraphy, and learning to make chainmaille. I am a very eclectic person! I love all kinds of music (I'll give you the short version in a minute) and enjoy hanging out with a diverse crowd. Now, for my musical stuff! I like (in no particular order!) Tori Amos, Orgy, Hole, KoRn, Rammstein, Bauhaus, Rasputina, Love & Rockets, Dead Can Dance, Loreena McKennitt, Enigma, Siouxie & The Banshees, Kittie, and Wench . My two favorite local bands are Nylon Kincaid (rock) and Mecca Bodega (dulcimer and drums). I also want to tell the world about a gothic band from Michigan called Children of the Night. I am always looking to expand my horizons by meeting people to chat with, meet, hang out with, learn from and teach.
